This morning, I had one of the most delicious green smoothies I ever made. Since I am back home (i.e. Brussels) visiting my family for a few weeks (cheers for family time :)), I wanted to share my love of green smoothies in the morning for breakfast with my brother…
As he was a little under the weather, I knew this would be perfect to assist his body in recovering faster. However, my brother is not so much into “green” smoothies and he can be very picky with the foods he eats. Therefore, I knew I had to create something tasty, yet “green” and full of beneficial nutrients for him.
Here is what I came up with. It was delicious and everyone loved it (they could not even tell there were vegetables in their smoothies ;)).
Pineapple Green Smoothie Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1 branch of celery (chopped)
- 1 carrot (chopped)
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 orange
- 1 cup of pineapple (chopped)
- 1 banana
