This was definitely by far one of the sweetest smoothies I have had in a while. And the best part is that it does not call for any sweetener whatsoever! All you need is some nice ripe fruits and you are on your way to heaven. Plus, as a bonus, this smoothie might just remind you of a creamy “eggnog”- at least it did so for me ;).
So without further ado, here is the recipe for this deliciously sweet and spicy green smoothie.
Spicy “Eggnog” Green Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of spinach
- 2 cups of almond milk
- 1/2 cup of baked sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup of frozen mangoes
- 1 pear (chopped & cored)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
Instructions:
Place all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and mix well until you have a nice creamy and smooth consistency (like so- picture below).
