Who doesn’t love the refreshing taste of lime mixed with the tropical flavours of mango and coconut? It is inspired by this combination of flavours that I decided to create this tropical mango coconut lime green smoothie.
It contains all of the health benefits of a regular green smoothie with an added tropical twist to it.
It is creamy and very filling thanks to the healthy fats present in both the coconut milk and the avocado. Yet, it has a nice refreshing kick because of the lime. And to finish off, the mango add a delicious touch of sweetness and smoothness to this breakfast meal. Let me tell you with this smoothie, you are in for ride 😉
Here is the recipe for this creamy, delicious & nutritious breakfast drink.
Tropical Mango Coconut Lime Green Smoothie
a real taste of Summer Tropics in a glass
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of coconut milk (use full fat- the MCT (type of fats) in coconut are used by your body for energy)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water (adjust to your liking)
- 2 cups of kale (or 2 big leaves- remove the stems)
- 1/4 lime or lemon juice or 1 Tbsp of ACV (adding a vitamin C source increases the absorption of non-heme iron present in dark leafy greens )
- 1/2 cup of frozen mango
- 1/2 avocado (another great source of fibers & healthy fats, great for your skin )
- 1 Tbsp of chia seeds (hello omega-3s! Great for reducing inflammation in the body)
- Optional: 1 tsp of raw honey
- Dash of cinnamon (anti-inflammatory & helps regulate blood sugar levels)
Makes 4-5 cups.
Instructions:
Place all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender and mix until well combined and creamy smooth.
Et voilà!
You’ve got yourself a Tropical Mango Coconut Lime Green Smoothie.
Hope you enjoy .

Love love love a morning smoothie. It has become a ritual for me, as I usually start ridiculously early in the morning and it is difficult for me to eat most foods. I use coconut water, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen banana, spinach, avocado, nut butter, honey and cinnamon. Sooooo goooood!!
Sounds delicious Paula!
I just went HAM at the produce store and can make this tomorrow morning! So exciting! I’ll let you know how I get along 😀
